WHAT IS SPIRITUAL DIRECTION?
Spiritual Direction is a monthly one-on-one conversation about your life with God. With the accompaniment of a spiritual director, you learn to deepen and enjoy your relationship with God, and to be more aware of God’s presence and action in all the events of your life. CERTIFIED SPIRITUAL DIRECTORS WEEKEND RETREAT
February 20 – 22
6:30 PM Friday – Noon Sunday
This will be a special weekend of prayer for special people who accompany others in their life and prayer. What a grace to come together to pray for those we serve and to be with one another in this sacred ministry. Donation: $200/$100 non-refundable deposit. Commuters are welcome. Full payment is required 2 weeks in advance of start date.
INTERN PROGRAM
SPIRITUAL DIRECTION INTERN PROGRAM
Francis House offers an intense 3-year Intern Formation Program for those desiring to become Spiritual Directors.
This program has four critical aspects:
♥ The Spiritual Exercises
of St. Ignatius of Loyola,
♥ Ignatian Discernment,
♥ Study of the Spiritual Masters
♥ Practicum in the Art and Discipline of giving Spiritual Direction.
Time commitment:
2 Thursdays each month, 3 weekends a year, and a 5-day directed retreat.
