     July 14 – 21 Tuesday to Tuesday - FULL

A Centering Prayer retreat invites you to go more deeply into the silence and stillness, which facilitates growth in Contemplative Prayer and attentiveness to God’s Word. Donation: $750; $100 non-refundable deposit. Full payment is required 3 weeks in advance of the start date.

7-DAY REVIEW OF LIFE RETREAT

     Begins 6:30 PM – Ends 10:00 AM

     August 2 – 9 Sunday to Sunday - FULL

This 7-day retreat will give you the opportunity to gather the graces of your life one decade at a time to notice the pattern of God’s love for you throughout the years. To review your life’s journey in the presence of God and from God’s point of view provides a sense of God’s care for you which strengthens you for the unknown future ahead. Your life, and your prayer over your life, is worth the week. Donation: $750; $100 non-refundable deposit. Full payment is required 3 weeks in advance of start date. Commuters welcome.

SILENT DIRECTED RETREAT WEEKEND

     July 31 – August 2 - FULL

     6:30 PM  Friday  – 1 PM Sunday   

Come for a weekend of silence, prayer, Mass, spiritual direction, long walks in the country, delicious meals and a swim in the pool if you’d like. A weekend with God in silence refreshes your body, mind and spirit. God knows what you need. Donation: $200, $100 non-refundable deposit with registration.

Not a series. Take a day away from the busyness of your life. Come to Francis House for silence, personal prayer and optional spiritual direction. The day begins and ends with a brief prayer together. Please bring a bag lunch. Come to as many as you can. Donation: $10; $40 with spiritual direction.

TWILIGHT RETREAT

     Saturday, July 11    5:00 – 8:00 PM

Our evening of reflection begins with Mass at 5 PM followed by a light supper. A labyrinth walk and a prayerful stroll in the gardens with God follows, ending with some Lectio Divina and Centering Prayer in the outdoor chapel. Led by Gwen Rapp. Donation $25.

Come take a dip into the ocean of God’s love with a day of Centering Prayer. Spending time with God in Centering Prayer truly refreshes the soul and helps keep the worrisome things of life in perspective! There is nothing quite like a day of Centering Prayer in the middle of the summer! Are you willing? Please bring your own lunch. Led by S. Marcy. Donation: $30.

Open your heart to the depth of the psalms! We will listen to and pray with several psalms that can draw us more intimately into the heart of God. The psalms can help us respond to the joys, sorrows and challenges of our daily lives. Led by Katherine Andrews. Donation: $25.

Picture This! You are an instrument of God, allowing beauty to be shown through your talents and gifts. Like a paint brush in the Master Artist’s hand, you have a unique and personal call to bring peace, joy and faith to others. Let the Spirit guide your imagination and/or your paint brush as you are drawn to the world outside or around you. Led by Bernadette Citarella. Donation: $35, Materials included. Today is the Feast of the Transfiguration. We will look at the three synoptic gospel accounts of the Transfiguration. Scripture can help us ponder and act on the meaning of this amazing event for Jesus, the disciples and ourselves. Led by Katherine Andrews. Donation: $25.

“Worry is useless,” says the Lord. Although we’ve heard that many times, worry seems to be an all-pervasive disease that we have all caught! I’m hoping you will come so we can pray through this epidemic together. Prayer changes things, you know! Led by S. Marcy. Donation: $25. Weather permitting, bring your own lunch and enjoy the grounds.
